Ever wanted to be in a video game?

Ghostfire Games - Game development studio

Have you ever wanted to be in a video game?  If so, today is your lucky day.. Announcing the Race to be a Gladiator contest!

This contest is a worldwide race to try to finish Rage of the Gladiator.  The first person in both North America and Europe to take a screenshot of this will get their name into a future game that we create!  So if you’re good at games, then this is a chance to actually be in a video game yourself!

In addition, we are giving out an awesome set of gladiator weaponry (see picture) through a random drawing of all entries.  So even if you’re not that fast at beating the game, you still have a chance to win!

To finish the game, you need to do 3 things:

1. Defeat every boss in the game

2. Defeat them again on Challenge Mode.  This is quite challenging since the bosses have all-new abilities, powers, and are fast and tricky.

3. Then on top of that, you need to defeat each of these bosses with a Rank of A or better, which is super tough.

Once you complete this task, you unlock a special move called the Brutal Victory which is a 60+ hit move that lets you devastate your opponents.  We estimate that it will take 20-40 hours to do this, depending on how skilled you are.

To enter, send an email to contest@ghostfiregames.com and include your name, country, and a photo of you unlocking the Brutal Victory.  The contest starts when the game releases, which should be soon (the game is in Nintendo’s approval process as we speak).  After that, you have 4 weeks to submit your entries!

Legal stuff is here: http://www.ghostfiregames.com/ContestRules.doc

Good luck!

    @Js:
    I agree! For a WiiWare game to have this type of game-play, and this amount of hours is really great.
    I’m glad to know a “Punch-Out!!” like game is coming out, but it’s a fresh new approach and not costing $50.

    “the contest starts when the game releases, After that, you have 4 weeks to submit your entries!” The US got it released on March 15, so does that mean it will end on April 5, or the 12th?
